From the PastorThank you for visiting our website! Someone once said that Bayou Sara Baptist Church is the best kept secret in north Mobile. I think it was meant to be a compliment, but in reality, we don't want to be a secret at all.
For almost fifty years, we have been faithfully serving our Lord in the same location in Saraland, Alabama. I have had the honor of serving as her pastor since March, 2000.
We are a church committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, committed to reaching our world for Christ, and committed to ministering to the needs of our community. We are a church where people really do matter.
We are in voluntary cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Alabama Baptist Convention, and the Mobile Baptist Association. We are conservative in our beliefs but liberal with our love.
If you are new in our community or if you are seeking a church home, we invite you to come and worship with us. Come and help us become the church God has called us to be.
