Mission & Purpose
The Mission of Bayou Sara Baptist Church is believers committed to the Great Commission by fulfilling the Great Commandment.
Our purpose for existing is:
- To reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- To teach people the truth of God’s Word.
- To lead people into a lifestyle of worship.
- To share with others in global, Christ-centered missions.
- To help meet the needs of people.
- To look forward to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
We strive to accomplish this four ways:
- CONNECTING to God and one another through intentional relationships.
- GROWING in the understanding of Gods Word and the calling of becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ.
- SERVING in the Church and community displaying the heart of God in Christ through the work and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- GOING missional into the community, state, nation and around the world to minister and share Jesus Christ.
