Where Can I Serve?
Bayou Worship Ministry
God-honoring worship through music is one of our priorities as a church. Whether it is praising the Lord through playing an instrument, singing with our worship team, or working with our technical staff, our desire is to ultimately lift high the wonderful name of Jesus Christ through congregational singing.
Bayou Prayer Ministry
Bayou Sara is a body of believers dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Throughout the week, prayer team members pray for one another and for the needs of others. Each Wednesday evening, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
Bayou Missions
Bayou Sara is committed to local, national, and international missions. In doing this, we offer a wide-array of opportunities for people to serve. These ministries include: Food Bank, Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, Any Soldier Gift Boxes, Mexico Missions, Disaster Relief, Bereavement, and others.
Bayou Kids
Bayou Kids range from kindergarten through the 5th grade. On Sunday Mornings at 11:00 a.m. we have worship in the choir room behind the sanctuary. On Wednesday nights our Royal Ambassadors and our Girls in Action meet in Building D. During the year we will have various events such as fall festivals, holiday parties, movie nights, and many more.
